Tour Start Date: The tour begins at 7pm on October 1, 2027 at H10 Palacio Colomera Hotel in Cordoba. You can arrive in Cordoba anytime that day.

Tour End Date: The tour ends on October 8, 2027 at the Hotel Alfonso XIII in Seville. There are no group activities this day and you can depart anytime.

    THE NASRID PALACES AT THE ALHAMBRA

    Begun in 1238, the Alhambra was built for the rulers of Granada until their expulsion in 1492 by Ferdinand and Isabella. Today the complex is widely considered to be the finest preserved building of the medieval Muslim world and a source of inspiration for architects, writers, and travelers for centuries.

    MOORISH ARCHITECTURE

    Ruled by an Islamic caliphate for centuries, Andalusia contains a wealth of monuments that speak to its complex Christian and Muslim identities. We will see this for ourselves at the Mosque of Cordoba and the Royal Palace (Real Alcazar) at Seville.

    In addition to its fine cities, Andalusia is known for its scenic hill towns. We will visit Ronda, a city set dramatically over a deep gorge, and stroll across its 300 foot tall bridge that spans the gorge.

    This tour features several early and after hours visits to the top historical sights in Seville, as well as a visit with lunch at a privately-owned palace.

    Our tour includes stays at four-sand five-hotels that could only be found in Andalusia. In Cordoba, Granada and Seville we will stay at historic luxury hotels that date from the 1920s. Our hotel in Seville is among the finest five-star hotels in Europe.

Friday, October 1 - Cordoba

You can arrive in Cordoba anytime before our welcome dinner at 8:00pm tonight. We are happy to assist you with your travel plans on arrival day. Meals: Dinner

Saturday, October 2 - Cordoba

This morning we begin our exploration of Andalusian architecture with the Mezquita of Cordoba, a UNESCO World Heritage Site that combines Moorish and Christian architecture. After lunch together, we will have a guided tour of Cordoba’s famed patios(courtyards). Meals: Breakfast, Lunch

Sunday, October 3 - Granada

On our way to Granada, we will stop in a picturesque town for lunch before arriving at our hotel in Granada for the next two nights. Meals: Breakfast, Lunch

Monday, October 4 - Granada

We will be up early for our guided tour of the Alhambra right as it opens this morning. Our visit features the lush Generalife Gardens and the Nasrid Palaces. After lunch together, you will have the afternoon free to explore the fascinating city of Granada. Meals: Breakfast, Lunch

Tuesday, October 5 - Seville

This morning we check out of our Granada hotel and continue through the Andalusian countryside to the hill town of Ronda, where we will have lunch together and time to explore the town. After arriving in Seville, we have arranged a private after hours visit to the Casa Pilatos. Meals: Breakfast, Lunch

Wednesday, October 6 - Seville

We will begin the day at a privately-owned palace where we will be welcomed for lunch. In the afternoon, enjoy a guided tour of the Real Alcazar, Seville’s royal palace that dates to the 10th century.After some free time this afternoon, we’ll gather in the evening for a flamenco performance. Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner

Thursday, October 7 - Seville

We begin with an early hours visit to the Palacio de las Dueñas, a 15th-century palace belonging to the Dukes of Alba. Afterwards, we’ll visit our favorite house museum in Seville. Join us for one last dinner tonight. Meals: Breakfast, Dinner

Friday, October 8

Our tour officially ends today. There are no group activities and you can depart Seville anytime. Check-out time is 12pm. Meals: Breakfast
