• This is a high-paced trip with full days of guided sightseeing to Andalusia’s top sights. Punctuality is important on this tour. We will typically visit one to two sights every day before lunch. Some times you will have the afternoon free and other days we will visit a sight after it closes to the public.

This is one of our more active tours. Those not accustomed to being on their feet for 2-3 hours at a time might find this tour tiring. On most days we will reach our destinations on foot. Most historic city centers have limited traffic thus making it essential that you be able to walk up to 1 mile to reach a destination. All travelers must be able to walk up and down several flights of stairs (not all historic buildings have elevators), up and down hill (Andalusia is not flat) and to walk on narrow cobblestoned streets.

• The tour begins at 7pm on October 1st in Cordoba. Cordoba is easily reached via high-speed train or its small regional airport.

• There are no activities on the last day of the tour, October 8th. You can depart Seville any time on this day. Seville’s airport is well-connected to Europe’s major airports.

• You might have heard of Spain’s late dining hours and this is very true, especially in Andalusia: most restaurants do not open for lunch until 1 or 1:30pm and for dinner until 8 or 9pm. There are casual cafe and bakeries where you can grab a snack or light meal in between these hours.

• While we hope to avoid the oppressive heat of summer, it can still be warm in Andalusia in October with average highs in the 80s. That said Spain is accustomed to heat and, by European standards, you can expect a comfortable level of airconditioning at hotels and restaurants. Historic buildings may not have air conditioning. All of our hotels are air conditioned.

Yes. Each traveler is allowed ONE SUITCASE that cannot exceed 26 x 18 x 12 inches in total size.
