Hunt for treasures at Paris’s famous antique market, learn the art of floral arranging, and visit a shop renowned for its table setting. This tour also includes an exclusive behind the scenes visit to the opulent Opera Garnier and a soufflé making cooking class. Our charming hotel is centrally located in the midst of the city’s best shops and restaurants. You will be accompanied by Wingback Travel’s expert guides, Laura Leeker and Ross Harper.

    This tour includes a day at the famous Paris antique market. Laura and Ross will be on hand to assist you with translation. Ross will also lead shopping tour where you will meet the owners of two of his favorite stores that specialize in the art of the table.

    We are thrilled to introduce a floral arranging class at a renowned French workshop for flower arrangements. You will take your creation back to the hotel and admire it for the rest of the week!

ITINERARY

While we plan to follow this itinerary, please know that changes may be made in the event of unexpected cancellations or closures. A final itinerary will be mailed to you one month prior to the tour start date.

The Musée Rodin feels intimate and tranquil. It occupies the Hôtel Biron, an elegant 18th century Rococo mansion. Rodin moved his studio here in 1908.

Welcome to Paris! Join your fellow travelers in the hotel lobby this evening for a glass of champagne. It is then a short walk to dinner at a fun local restaurant. Meals: Dinner

Thursday, September 24

This morning enjoy a private, behind-the-scenes tour of Paris’s opulent opera house, the Palais Garnier. Afterwards we will stroll through the covered passageways of Paris to lunch at a bustling bistro. In the afternoon, partake in a private floral arranging class. Your creation is yours to admire for the rest of the trip! Meals: Breakfast, Lunch

Friday, September 25

Today we explore our Left Bank neighborhood. In the morning, Laura will lead a private tour through the gardens and house of the Rodin Museum. After lunch together at a cafe, Ross will open the doors of several of his favorite local shops that specialize in the art of the table. We will have dinner together tonight a typically Parisian local restaurant. Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner

Saturday, September 26

This morning is dedicated to the art of the soufflé! You will enjoy a private cooking class where you will learn how to make sweet and savory soufflés - and enjoy your creation for lunch! Afterwards, it is a short stroll to Notre Dame. Laura will give a talk on the exterior and (subject to confirmation in 2026) we will visit the interior of the church together. Meals: Breakfast, Lunch

Sunday, September 27

On our last day together we head to the famous Puces de Paris, the Paris antique market! Laura and Ross will give you the lay of the land and then the morning will be yours to hunt for treasures. This market is known for its high-quality selection of decorative objects for the home, as well as vintage and designer goods and jewelry. Tonight we head to a bustling bistro for our last meal together. Meals: Breakfast, Dinner

Monday, September 28

Time to say goodbye! Breakfast at the hotel this morning is included and you can depart anytime today. We can arrange for a private driver to take you to the airport or the hotel can reserve a taxi for you.

  • No, Paris: The Art of Living is a new tour that we are excited to introduce in 2026.

    The Art of Living includes more exclusive experiences, more meals together, and less free time (we recommend arriving several days early if you wish to have time to explore on your own).

    While we do visit the Paris antique market on this tour (and we know that many who join this trip will be shoppers!), this is not a dedicated shopping trip. This trip does coincide with the semi-annual antique fair at Chatou and we can arrange for you to attend this fair if you wish to extend your trip by one day.

  • Our new Paris tour features more hands-on experiences and more time together as a group. If you want to delve into a wide variety French cultural experiences (art, architecture, decor, and food) this is the tour for you.

    Please note that this trip includes a fair amount of time walking and standing on your feet - we might walk up to 20 minutes to reach a destination and you should be comfortable being on your feet for up to an hour at a time. If you have mobility concerns, please speak with us before booking.

    We recommend that travelers wanting some time on their own in Paris arrive a few days early.

  • This is a moderately active tour. You should be comfortable walking up to 20 minutes to a museum or restaurant and being on your feet for up to an hour at a time. Laura and Ross are not ones to break a sweat, but you should be comfortable walking 10,000 steps (2-3 miles) a day over uneven surfaces and up and down stairs.
