We will also enjoy a botanical watercolor class with a local artist, partake in high tea, and enjoy several memorable private meals together. Spend four nights in the elegant Georgian city of Bath and end the trip with two nights at the opulent Cliveden House.

    Our days will be spent enjoying privileged access to privately-owned gardens and estates. Your visits will be guided by head gardeners, the homeowners themselves, and other experts.

    We are so excited to partner with a local British artist for a watercolor workshop at the Botanical Gardens in Bath. This class is tailored to all levels (including those with no experience!) and all materials will be provided. Take home your creation as a small souvenir.

    Enjoy four nights in elegant Bath, a city renowned for its well-preserved Georgian architecture. Bath is full of charming shops and restaurants, as well as historic monuments such as the Pulteney Bridge (pictured), Parade Gardens, and Roman Baths.

ITINERARY

Wednesday, June 2

You can arrive in Bath anytime before our welcome dinner at 6:30pm tonight in our hotel’s private dining room. Bath is an easy 2-hour train ride from London’s Paddington station or we can arrange for a private driver.

Thursday, June 3

We start the day with an early hours visit to Iford Manor, the masterpiece and former home of garden designer Harold Peto. After lunch together, enjoy a visit with the owners of a private garden.

Friday, June 4

We begin the day at THE PIG-near Bath with its award-winning garden restaurant. After a tour of the garden, we will enjoy lunch together in the private dining room. In the afternoon, visit a privately-owned garden.

Saturday, June 5

This morning the Temple of Minerva at the Bath Botanical Gardens will be all ours for a private watercolor class with a local artist. Afterwards enjoy afternoon tea together at our hotel. Later this evening we will visit the ancient Roman Baths together.

Sunday, June 6

This morning we check out of our Bath hotel and continue through the Cotswold countryside, to one of England’s most prestigious privately-owned country houses. The owners will share their gardens and home with us. Afterwards we continue to Cliveden House for the last two nights of our time together.

Monday, June 7

This morning we have visit with Head Gardener at the childhood home of the Mitford sisters. Afterwards, lunch together at Daylesford, the eminent farm shop of the Cotswolds. After free time this afternoon to explore Cliveden, we will gather again in the evening for dinner in one of the estate’s private dining rooms.

Tuesday, June 8

Our tour officially ends after breakfast this morning. A transfer to London-Heathrow airport this morning is included. Please let us know your flight information as soon as you have it.
