Fall 2025 Tour Recap: Dordogne & Paris

Our fall 2025 tours took us to France, where we spent a week in the Dordogne followed by a week in Paris. In the Dordogne we spent the week leading a private group trip for five couples (full details on private trips here). We then returned to Paris for our shopping-focused Art & Antiques tour. Read on to see what all we got up to!

The Dordogne River Valley is a calm and rustic region of France full of medieval castles and beautiful gardens.

We enjoyed a private visit to a Renaissance castle followed by a decadent lunch cooking by a charming chef.

More scenes from the Dordogne! Fine dining at our five-star hotel, a visit to a local market, men enjoying their Wingback Travel trip, and a gorgeous sunset at our historic hotel.

The Dordogne is rich in gardens and we enjoyed private tours at Eyriganc and Marqueyssac on this tour. On our last full day, we went to Rocamadour, a site of medieval pilgrimage that is beautiful situated on the edge of a gorge.

We also arrange a visit to see original prehistoric cave art, as well as a tour and tasting at a local Bergerac winery.

Next it was on to Paris! We welcomed a super fun group of travelers to the city on the day that just happened to be Ross’s birthday. Needless to say we had a very festive welcome dinner!

Our Art & Antiques tour to Paris focuses on Laura and Ross’s specialities: we visit three antique markets and three museums. Pictured above: Wingback travelers taking a short break from shopping at Chatou; a beautiful piece of majolica from a dealer at the Paris flea market; the birthday boy; and the interior of the Rodin Museum.

Everyone went home with full hearts - and heavier suitcases! We always love to see what treasures our travelers find on this trip to Paris.
